This story takes place in the universe of the <i>Fallout</i> series of games. Research material can be found at the Fallout Wiki here: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_Wiki Put simply, the Fallout world started out like our own, and was identical until the end of WWII. From there, things changed. The visual style of the 1950s never went away, even centuries later most everything looks like it's from that era. World politics remained unstable, and in 2054, the US government ordered the construction of a series of underground shelters, should the worst happen. October 23rd, 2077. The worst happened. Within two hours, most of the planet is a radioactive cinder. The story begins that same day. The Fallout games occour some 80-180 years later, and so should not have any relevance to the story unless a major timeskip is involved. Some time skipping is inevitable, but until there is good reason, it should stay within the initial generation of people. Ideally, I'd like to avoid skipping more than a few weeks or a month or two at least for a while. The Vault the game takes place in is on the list of 'known' Vaults, but other than it's initial setup (and a joke or two), nothing is officially known as to what happened with it. It's also not known where it was located, so I've left that fact out. It's not really relevant anyways. I doubt they'd ever put this Vault in any future Fallout games. The tone of the story starts out dark and depressing (really, how else could it start?), but can go most anywhere, including full-on hardcore sex. (in fact, I fully expect it to go there! :) ) Most categories are welcome, including (but not limited to) romance, swingers, lesbian, incest, interracial, and exhib/voy. In any case, play nice with each other, and let's have fun.
