“I don’t believe what I’m hearing” Sarah said leaning away from you, “You’re joking right?”
“I’m being deadly serious Sarah” you say softly, “I really do have omnipotent powers” you add looking into her eyes, “Let me prove it to you” you suggest.
“What? So you can make me look like an idiot? I don’t think so!” she retorted.
“Look honey, I’m not trying to make a fool out of you, I love you” you reply trying too win Sarah over, “End of the day what’s the worst that could happen if you make a wish? I look more stupid than you for saying I have something that I don’t have” you reason, taking Sarah’s hand in yours, “All I want to do is share this power with you, you’re the only person I have told, please lets share this wonderful gift, together” you add as you look into your girlfriend’s eyes. You can see in her eyes that she’s wavering.
“Ok then” she says softly, “Let’s assume you’re telling the truth” she adds, giving you a stern look, “I’ll have to come up with a wish that would be impossible to pull off otherwise” she continues, looking across the hall thinking.
“Great!” you reply with a big smile, “You won’t regret this!” you add, “Fire away, anything you want!” you state. Sarah sits there for a moment thinking.
“Anything I want you can make real?” she asks unsure.
“Anything my love, what ever you want it’s yours!” you answer with confidence.
“I wish…” she says thinking carefully. |
