You see an matronly woman at the top of the stairs, She matches the house her clothes look Victorian but they are made of expensive fabric and are spotless and wrinkle free.
"Welcome, my dear, please come in out the that horrid weather." She walks up to you and takes your hand. She gently leads you to a small couch.
"Please, sit here while I get you a robe and something hot to drink, you must be chilled to the bone." She hustles away before you can protest about soaking her nice furniture. A few minutes after she leaves you hear a strange laugh. It seems to be coming from the hall closet. |
