Abandonment on Evergracia | lupine | 3

The night judge seemed to dislike upstart boys speaking before his court and he asked several times for FellFallow’s ninth wall society credentials to be verified, looked over and scrutinized.

As a member of the society he was a citizen. As a citizen who had fought off an attack and had the gold talons to show for it he had the rights of a landowner, and since his father had only died a day ago the estate had not been claimed by any petitioner. Eventually after many hours of silence or parchment shuffling the judge begrudgingly awarded the Downe estate to FellFallow.

FellFallow also entered a plea to gain a writ for the purchase of his mother and sister. But the judge had had enough of FellFallows company and told him to take the matter up with the slaver. It was only a court matter if the slaver had strayed from the letter and the law.

And so FellFallow was dismissed.
