Naruto of course decided that his crush from childhood days, Haruno Sakura, would make the ideal wife for his. And he just had to tell her the good news right away. Finding Sakura wasn't too hard. When she wasn't at home or on a mission, she was working in the hospital.
Spotting her pink hair in a hallway in the hospital, Naruto smiled. "Sakura-chaaaaan!", Naruto alerted her to his presence, running up to her.
Sakuras forehead twitched slightly at his noisyness. "Be quiet, you blockhead! This is a hospital! What is it, Naruto? I'm not going out for a date with you!", Sakura warned him, guessing correctly in which direction he was going already. But she couldn't have guess what came next...
"Sakura-chan, I wanted to ask: Do you want to marry m-?", Naruto asked, and just before he could even finish that sentence, his fast was flattened by Sakuras fist.
"You have a deathwish or so? SHANNARO!", Sakura growled menacingly before she punched him to the ground this time, and continued to beat on him mercilessly for a while, only stopping for breathing once.
Naruto was barely conscious by then, but he knew that he had only this chance to stop her wrath. "It was the Hokages order....", he mumbled from underneath his swollen lips.
"What? You're not making this any better, Naruto!", Sakura yelled in anger. She picked him up by the forehead and hoisted him out of the crater that he was in now, only to slam him to the ground once more.
"It's true! Go ask her if you don't believe me.", Naruto pleaded, fearing for his dear life. Why had he been such an idiot and told her his intent outright.
Surprisingly, Sakura halted her assault. "Psh! Fine, I will... but when I return, you better have found a good place to hide, or be far away, Naruto.", she warned him as she stomped off towards the Hokage tower.
Naruto was still in his hole in the ground, trying to get over the pain Sakura had put him through. He could only hope that he didn't make a mistake in choosing Sakura.
As he got up (not without a bit of pain though), Naruto wondered if and who he should ask to marry him... or maybe, indirectly ask if she was inclined to do so... seeing as he had only barely survived Sakura. |
