"Okay," said Dave, "you're either telling the truth or you're taking a joke waaay too far. I gotta know, so I'll tell you to do something you'd never do, prank or no prank."
Ashlyn cringed. "Just don't tell me to stick something up my butt, because I already did that today and I didn't like it."
"No, nothing like that. Just tell me what you really think of me."
Ashlyn gasped but couldn't stop herself from speaking. "You're a nice guy, but you're a total bore. You have low self esteem, and you try too hard to make people like you so you come across as a bit of a putz. Also, you could afford to work out a bit and the goatee doesn't suit you at all. Sorry."
Dave smiled sadly. "Yeah, that's pretty much what I expected. Oh well, you would never have said that if you didn't have to so I guess you're telling the truth.. I know all about my own faults, now let's work out exactly what this video can do."
"What do you mean? It makes me do what people tell me. I already told you that." replied Ashlyn. She tried to sound bitchy because she was afraid Dave might make her do certain things that she did NOT want to do with this man.
"I mean, can it make you do things you couldn't do otherwise? Try this. Float six inches above the ground."
All of a sudden Ashlyn screamed. Her head felt like someone was pounding icicles into her brain. "AAAAAGH! I CAN'T! I CAN'T DO IT!" she wailed. Dave immediately said, "Stop!" and the pain in Ashlyn's head immediately vanished. "Okay, now we know what happens if you're told to do the impossible. Let's not try that again." he said.
Dave thought to himself, I really should help her. But I've been after her for so long, can I let this opportunity go by without taking advantage? |
