When The Cat's Away | whizzper | 27

Kathryn woke in the night, feeling a little queasy. She turned over, and felt for Bryan. All she felt was an empty bed.

The last week had been amazing. Between the visit to the spa, the sunning by the pool, or the free for alls in either the Walker's room or the Menard's room, Kathryn had more pleasure than she had ever had in a week. Though she still hadn't had sex with any guy but Bryan. It was still a point of hesitation in that, and no one was pushing too hard on that score. Which made her feel more at ease. Enough so that she did blow Peter while she and Sandy were in a 69. The only reason they weren't up there tonight was because she hadn't felt too good the day before.

So she and Bryan had returned to their room, something they had only been doing for showering and clothing changes, to get one night of full rest. Sandy had been a little disappointed...until a long yawn escaped her mouth. She giggled at that and agreed that it was probably a good idea to get a good night's sleep. They did after all have another week to go.

Kathryn raised her head in the dark room, unable to see she called out, "Bryan?"

"Hey babe, I'm just watching the water here."

"Watching the water? Something wrong?" she asked, she knew his tone of voice, he was a bit worried.

"Well...I don't know really. My grandfather was a sailor as you know."

"Grandpa Sal, right?"

"MMm. Yeah and he always told me this little rhyme." He said, in the same tone of voice. "Red sky at night, Sailor's delight. Red sky in Morn, Sailor's be warned."

"Yeah...and?"

"And it's really red sky out there at five am. Very red, blood red. I don't like this sky. I don't like it at all."

"C...can you come get me please?" Kathryn asked, her voice wavering a bit.

"I'll turn the light on." Bryan answered. He quickly stepped over towards the nightstand, flicking on the light. He was dressed, as she now saw, in just his boxers.

Kathryn quickly got out of bed, her silky nightie falling to just above her knees, and walked over towards Bryan, "H...how badly do you not like the sky?"

"Let's get up to the upper decks."

Kathryn gasped, "Should...should we bring our things?"

"Some. It's a big ship it would take a hell of a situation to do anything bad to it."

"But remember that story about the rogue wave? Seventy feet tall."

"One in a million. Grab a change of clothes. I'll call upstairs. Walker's or Menard's?"

Which room do they go to?

          Walker's
