"Yeah. I'm leaving." You nod solemnly. Inwardly, your heart is breaking, but you have to stay strong and see this through. All you'll be doing by sticking around is hurting her worse. And lying or placating won't help either of you. "It's for the best."

"For the best, huh?" 's eyes narrowed sharply. "So that's how this ends, huh? Years and years of being best friends and you're going to simply walk away when things get difficult?"

"This is a little beyond difficult." You reply.

"So I guess it's time for the coward to turn tail then, huh?" She hisses at you icily, more tears starting to run down her cheek. It feels like she twisting a knife in your chest with every word. "I should have known. You were always the weak one of us, . It's about time you finally showed it."

"Weak?" You are take aback by her words. You knew she would be angry and upset at you leaving, but you thought she'd at least understand...

"I never thought you'd be one of those guys. Those deadbeats who run when they get a girl pregnant." Her glare nearly forces your gaze to the floor.

"I'm not abandoning you or the child. I'll support every way I can." You say, your brain hurting from the conversation.

"Except the one way that matters most. You are such a selfish prick."

"Selfish? I'm doing this for you, !"

"Don't you dare say that!" She screams angrily. "Don't you fucking dare! You don't know what I want! You're doing this for yourself because you don't have the balls to be a real man about this!"

"! I thought..."

"No, you didn't think!" She growls, fire in her eyes. "You never think, that's your fucking problem! Maybe if you actually thought with the right head once in a while, we wouldn't be here!" Once the words left her mouth, you could tell she wanted to take them back. But it was too late and her anger wasn't going anywhere soon. You are floored from all of this; you never thought she would ever think so little of you.

"..."

"No. Get out my sight." She whispers, her words choked up in sobs. "I...I don't want to see you again."

"Look..."

"GO." She demands. "I don't care where. Just go away!" She reaches out and slams the door in your face, leaving a ringing in your ears, a migrane in your head, and an ache in your heart.

Well? Where are you going to go now?
