The book began to flap like a wild bird then slammed to the ground. Flashes of green light burst out in all directions then all the beams of light narrowed onto Tammy. The book slammed to the ground open as the light faded. The pages that it was opened to glowed a bright green color.
"Tammy, what did you do?" Beth asked as she stared at the book.
"Nothing, I didn't do a thing." Tammy screamed back at Beth.
Tammy leaned over and tried to shut the book but it wouldn't budge. The strange writing on the pages began to shift and move around the book. They formed into what looked like a sketch of a females face. Then the eyes of the woman face shifted and looked right at Tammy
"I have scanned your mind young one and I wish to find out if this is the language you prefer me to speak?" the woman in the book asked.
"Yeah...um...yes... I guess." Tammy stammered out.
"Very well, my mistress," said the book. "What spell do you wish to cast? Or do you just wish to browse the selection of incantations and charms.Or you can choose another personal interface if you would rather have me be male or maybe fully formed"
