Heaven. That alone should be adequate description of the place. Another soul is about to fill a human body down on Earth, like it does thousands of times a month. Nobody in Heaven is particularly concerned about this case. But we are, because this case is your's.
Heaven, or more accurately, the human management division of it, is run like a large-scale business on Earth. There are managers, workers and those who organize things down to the smallest detail. This is where every human's destiny, spirit and Divine Plan are implemented and assigned. It is also something of a staffing agency for angels who wish to be guardians. It is here they are assigned their mortals and are dispatched to watch over them. Today, if days and nights do exist here, a new method is being used, and you are the first to take part in it.
The plan is to allow the human to choose his or her own angel. It has become a problem in recent years that guardian angels have stopped caring if the ones they're assigned to survive or not. Often their personalities clash and the angel grows indifferent or even disgusted with them and simply abandons their client. They are generally not punished for this, as punishment is up to God and God is too busy with The Universe to worry about one human and his or her former angel. The one last reprimanded was assigned to one Martin Luther King, as he was important to the world and his guardian failed. |
