You continue staring at the rustling bush, and after a few moments, there is a pause. Curious, you start to move closer to get a better look. However, just as you moved to crawl towards it, a smooth green vine, similar to the one you tripped over, shot out of the bushes straight towards you!
Naturally, your first instinct is to run. You make an attempt to scramble on your feet and hobble away from it, but the vine-like tendril quickly curled itself around your right arm. You hear more rustling from the bushes, and two more vine-tendrils shoot out to quickly wrap about your legs, hindering your movement. You struggle to pull the vines away with your free hand, but just as you do, yet another vine emerges to pull your arm away.
You're beginning to panic. You have to get away from this thing, but what should you do? Call for help? You're not the only one that takes this path every morning. |
