Call Girl | spongmaster | 2

Grandma lived in Santa Barbra, several hours north. She never answered her phone, but it was worth a try.

I dialed her number, let it ring, and ring, and ring some more, and ring yet more. After what seemed like 10009324080 rings it went over the the answer machine. The message was something like 4 hours long because my grandma couldn't find the end button when recording it; she was incredibly forgetful at times and had trouble with technology. But I loved her and hoped that she could help out.

"Hi Grandma it's your favorite granddaughter . I have a big problem with school and was wondering if you could help out. Call me back when you get a chance; I think you have my number but in case you don't..."

I left it, and hung up. It would take her a while, maybe a few days even, to get back to me. She had this home business that I knew almost nothing about - in fact my parents didn't either - that took up a lot of her time; some sort of internet business like selling quilts online or something. I know I just said she is bad with technology, which is why she had this really cute guy working for her named Allen doing all the tech stuff. He was about my age and going to UCLA studying something like computers or physics or math or something really hard. I loved to go visit my grandmother just for a chance to see him - he was cute AND smart. Andrea - my roommate - always joked he probably had a small penis or was gay or something. God I hoped he wasn't gay.

Well now that I was thinking of him I guess I should go visit my grandmother. But then again I really needed to get this money matter settled soon, so maybe I shouldn't go ogle over some man/boy/male candy.

Should you go visit your Grandma (and Allen) or settle the money issues?
