"I want to join the circle tonight," Lillian said to Joyce on the phone.
"Good, Lillian, I'll be happy to see you," Joyce said. "You can come as a family friend of ours, or...I know your mother is on a cruise. Is there another woman you would like to bring?"
“Well, I haven’t talked to her in a while, but my cousin Lauren might be interested. She’s pretty open to new things. Maybe she’d be interested.” Lil said.
"Do you think she’d be comfortable joining a Pleasure Circle?" Joyce asked.

Joyce agreed, and then a short time later, Gary, Lil and Bernie were on their way over to Gary and Lil’s cousin’s house. Lauren was a classic Californian girl.
