Mac shook his head.
Frankie: It didn't?
Mac: Not really. If anything, i have more questions now than before. I mean, you called it 'love-making' but i don't think those two are in love. And then there's the kind of love me and Bloo have. And really, i love all the friends at Foster's, including you and madame Foster. Does that mean i should do that with like, Coco or something?
Frankie, shaking the funny-yet-disturbing image from her head: No, you probably shouldn't do that with Coco. Or any of the imaginaries here. And grandma may be kind of...weird, but i don't think she'd go for this. And before you ask, you shouldn't try it with Goo either. They'd probably arrest you.
Mac: Arrest me!? What for!?
Frankie: She's a kid, and the cops aren't gonna believe you are too. It's a crime to do that with kids. Animals too.
Mac: So, i guess that just leaves you.
Frankie: IT DOES!?
Mac: Sure. You said no imaginaries, not madame Foster and not Goo. That only leaves mom, Terrence and you. And something about doing that with mom and Terrence makes me queasy.
Frankie: But not me?
Mac: Nope. I feel fine about you.
Frankie: Mac...
She struggled to think of how to say 'the odds aren't in your favor' in the least hurtful way. |
