", listen to me. You don't need to be any prettier. You're already a beautiful girl." You tell her. It only gets her to laugh humorlessly.
"Oh sure, ." says, a little bitterly. "You're only saying that to cheer me up."
"No, it's true." You insist. "You couldn't be any more enticing if you tried to be."
"Oh please." She rolls her eyes. "You're saying that because you're my best friend. I won't believe it until I hear it from someone who is actually attracted to me."
You take in a deep breath and nervously scratch the back of your head. You can't believe what you're about to reveal, but you're already going down this path and she needs to hear this before she goes and radically changes herself. "Well......I am." You say, mumbling half the words.
"You are what?" asks, confused.
"Attracted to you." You say quickly, trying to force it all out. 's eyes go wide and her mouth hangs open slightly. Your can feel your face heat up in embarrassment. "Well, you know...kinda." You stutter out, trying to do some damage control. "I mean, I've spent so much time with you, it's hard not to notice you and how you've...um...grown. Y'know, into an alluring woman."
"Oh." Is all she says. Her face flushes crimson and she turns away from you. You silently curse your big mouth and start heading for the door to try and save as much face as possible. Hopefully, by tomorrow, she'll forget you said anything.
"I'm gonna go and leave you to your bath." You say quickly and make a bee-line for the door. You hear some splashing from behind you.
"Wait, . Don't go." speaks up and you turn around to see that she's turned to watch you. Her face was still red, but less so than before. You could tell her breathing was slightly erratic. "You...you think I'm attractive?" You gulp and nod slowly. "And you're attracted to me?" Another nod from you. She bites her lower lip and shyly brushes some strands of red hair out of her face. "What...what do you find most attractive about me?"
