"Lets head through the forest." you answer sounding braver than you feel.
The forest looms ahead of you dark and foreboding. You have heard many tales of the terrible creatures that can be found in the many wild forests of the world but, you also know that there is a large city on the other side of this particular forest. Although you have never been there you know many people who have and, according to them the trip through the forest is relatively short and safe.
"As you wish." Is all the fairy says. She starts gently gliding her fingers across your neck and ear again. You Start down the path and head into the forest feeling a bit more brave as soft gentle tingles emanate from the areas that the fairy is stroking and, then spread rapidly through your body relaxing your muscles which you had unconsciously been tensing up due to your fear of the forest and the creatures within.
"Who are you?" You ask the fairy suddenly feeling curious about your mysterious companion.
"I am a Fairy." she replies simply.
"Yes but, what is your name and why are you accompanying me?"
"Fairies have many names but, most call me Lillian or Lilly. Either one will do fine for now. As to why I am accompanying you....well lets just say you will find out soon enough but, rest assured that I mean you no harm and will gladly help you in any way I can."
"Lilly... what a pretty name." You say softly.
"Why thank you" Lilly replies and you can tell she is very pleased with the compliment "What may I call you?" She asks in turn.
"I am from Eldar and I am off to discover the world." You tell her feeling more and more comfortable with her each passing second.
" is a beautiful name as well." She says and you can tell she genuinely means it.
Suddenly your conversation is cut short as the path in front of you forks off into two separate paths. 'This isn't right' you think to yourself 'There should only be one path from what I've been told'. The fear that was so recently banished by Lilly's Magic touch quickly comes racing back and, it only intensifies as you realize that Lilly is no longer stroking your neck but is fidgeting uncomfortably on your shoulder.
