You find yourself facing the floating blue genie from Aladdin. He is hovering a few feet away from you. His wispy, almost smoke-like, blue tail seems to be constantly in motion.
"Genie! How good to see you!" Jasmine exclaims.
"It's good to see you too, Princess---or should I say princesses. I don't believe we've met, your highness." he says, bowing to you courteously.
Still more than a little confused, you try your best to curtsy. You hope that you are behaving in a manner befitting a princess, since they obviously think that you are one. Your mind is racing, trying to make sense of everything that is happening. Your mental panicking is interrupted by Genie’s happy voice.
"So Jasmine, will your new friend be joining us for our little adventure?" he asks hopefully.
"I don't know. I haven't had the chance to ask her yet. What do you say, Rebecca?" Both Jasmine's and Genie's hopeful gazes rest squarely on you.
You think about it and realize that if you don't go with them, you will be left alone in this---well wherever you are. So you decide to go with them.
"Of course I would love to go with you both!" You do your best to sound enthusiastic. In reality, not only are you very nervous, you're convinced you're losing your mind.
