Anya looked around hoping that there'd be some way to escape. But things were not in her favour. Seeing the situation was hopeless a solitary tear trickled from one eye, then she sighed through gritted teeth and dropped her weapon at her feet, admitting defeat.
One of the beasts approached, and tied her hands securely in front of her. He then attached a leather collar around her neck which had a long chain hanging from it. The one that seemed to be the leader took the chain and lead Anya deeper into the cave.
Her chances of escape now looked bleak, so she tried to relax and save her strength, hoping for a chance later on....If there would be a later?! |
