The only interesting bit of the afternoon is when your boss, Mr. Wallbanger, calls you and into his office.
He instructs you and to land a major sale tomorrow--whatever it takes. The two of you are to pick up Pat Portales at the airport in the morning. You're to take total care of the client during their stay (tomorrow and the next day). Mr. Wallbanger has booked a limo for you to pick up Pat and you're to make sure that Pat is treated to a top notch lunch and dinner. Pat's plane leaves the next morning. is in charge of the sale, and you're to support the sale in any way she needs.
calls you back to her office after the meeting.
"Looks like we have plans tomorrow...but, tonight, I have some plans for us. There's a dinner party at my friend Rebecca's house--a couples thing. So, I'll be picking you up at 7pm. I want you to wear a suit and bring a nice bottle of wine."
"Sounds...a bit boring."
"Well, play your cards right and the night could be good fun for you...play them wrong and it could all end in disaster!" She gives you a tight-lipped smile with just a hint of menace. But, she's absently toying with her hair...so what signal does she mean to send to you?
The rest of the day at the office flies by and you then rush home, shower and dress.
