“What are you doing? Ami, what the hell is wrong with you?”
“Umm…. ah…” was all Ami could respond.
“Were you just sighing?” Yumi asked, confused and a little disturbed.
“Well…. No, of course not. Why would I be sighing?” Ami replied angrily and then topped off with a nervous giggle.
Yumi knew she had heard Ami sigh but she decided to accept her friend’s pathetic excuse none the less.
Several minutes later Ami decided to ‘take a break” from practicing for a few minutes and Yumi was none too sad. Catching Ami in that position and hearing her call out her name had rattled her. A few moments of jamming on her guitar without Ami breathing down her neck would help calm her down.
After playing for awhile Yumi began to hear a strange noise again, similar to the one she had heard earlier. Even though she didn’t want to, something inside of her made Yumi stop playing and go hunt down the noise.
