As a princess of an Asian empire, she had been waited on hand and foot, and worshipped as a Godess. Servants catered to her slightest whim. She lived in a massive palace, while the majority of her subjects lived in massive poverty. She was tyrannical, mocking all those not born into privilege as she was. She would laugh when she overworked and humiliated her innocent servants. Even at a mere 18 years old, she loved to order around those who were significantly older and wiser. The men all admired her legendary beauty, but still feared her.
That was, until the tribe from the West invaded.
Her empire had been warned, but was still militarily weak. Being her arrogant self, she assumed that even if the invaders could conquer her kingdom, they would leave her with her riches. But when they came, they stormed the palace without any concern for the holiness of the Imperial Family. She sat on the throne of the Princess when they entered, and halted at seeing her.
"How dare you profane this room with your presence?!" she demanded.
The soldiers said nothing, but one began to approach her. "You fool! How dare you approach a princess without permission. I am-" And with that, she was knocked unconscious.
