"What are your plans in Lumumba?" he asks.
"Um, we're here to do research?" Nicole states in a way that sounds like a question. "We want to figure out... what's wrong with your country."
"Well, I'm sure we will be forever indebted to you," Btugu replies evenly. "But where are you going immediately?"
"I don't know if Seanna has something planned, to be honest," Nicole informs him.
"Ah, well, you white women will be very valuable indeed. Please come and stay with me."
"Aw, that's sweet. Alright."
Just then Seanna returns and Nicole introduces her new friend to the Irishwoman.
"Boo-boo has invited us to come over to his house!" Nicole informs Seanna excitedly. Seanna and Btugu exchange a brief confused look.
"I must apologize for my friend," Seanna explains quickly. "Her tongue has yet to master the complexity of your name."
Btugu smiles. "I hope her visit will give this fine girl an opportunity to develop a trained tongue." Nicole smiles radiantly. Then he turns to the redhead. "Yes, you have come to Lumumba at a... delicate time. It is best that you not travel unaccompanied. You are welcome at my home, if it be your wish."
Seanna smiles hesitantly at the handsome man. She isn't sure if he is kind or just charming. She is normally suspicious of random kindness, but perhaps this is an opportunity to learn more about the country...
