"I have to show you some pictures of my time here!" Ellen exclaims and hopped off the bed towards her dresser. "I have been having such a blast! Widley College is so cool! There are so many awesome people here! I have so many friends!"
She went on and on in that vein as she went through her dresser collecting photographs. You sigh slightly when she sits down next to you with a stack of about 100 photos and starts going through them in agonizing detail.
"This is Mona, she and I were really good friends the first few days of school, but I haven't seen her lately. This is a girl from the cheer squad, but she got cut."
"Uh huh," you say, but Ellen doesn't pick up on your boredom.
