Noticing Sarah's glare, you begin to feel a twinge of guilt. You stand up, and begin walking to her.
"Don't overwork yourself," she snaps. You notice the candles still burning, and smile. She's really too good to you sometimes. She doesn't even look at you as you slip behind her and begin rubbing her shoulders.
She doesn't shrug you off, but she doesn't move to get away either.
"Sarah," you begin, "I'm sorry. I had a rough day at work, and I took it out on you. I appreciate you very much, and I can't tell you how much I liked your surprise."
You rub her shoulders more and feel her relax a little bit. "You liked my surprise?" she finally asks.
You reach down to kiss her neck. She sighs and turns around. She begins kissing you, slowly rising from the chair. She rubs her hands on your chest and begins pushing you to the couch. |
