Lara turned towards the closest tunnel. She looked over her shoulder. They all looked alike; that one was as good a bet as any other. She took a deep breath and stepped into the darkness.
The tunnel twisted and turned, and the darkness was getting thicker and thicker. Lara kept her left arm on the wall to help direct her course, but she shivered when her right arm touched a cold wall too. Slowly but steadily, the passage was getting narrower! The tunnel was as twisty now as at its beginning but far away there was a dim light. So she kept going, though the cold walls were hindering her advance. Before long, she had to walk sideway, and for one very rare time, Lara wished she weren't gifted with such a generous bosom.
As she was about to exit the tunnel, she feared of being stuck, because there was no way she could squeeze her breasts more. Lara closed her eyes, bit her lips and pushed with all her might. She got both her left arm and foot out of the tunnel, and withstanding the pain of the crushing, she managed to slip one of her breast into the room. She pushed once more, and the rest of her body was finally free. Relieved, Lara took a few deep breaths before looking around the room.
Much to her surprise, she discovered that the place laid in ruins. Half of the room had collapsed and huge boulders had rolled all over the place. She had not come out of a well carved tunnel, but from a mere crack in the wall. Only a handful of torches were lit in the room. Other than that, this room looked exactly as the one she had just left.
She didn't have time to explore further before voices echoed in the distance. Despite the darkness, she could see that 2 tunnels were carved in the 2 corners of the room that were still intact. The voices were speaking the same dialect as the man she had knocked down.
Lara turned around in a hurry and thought about going back into the fissure, but she wasn't looking forward at being squeezed again between two cold walls. Or she could enter a tunnel and hope the voices were coming from the other way. Or hide behind one of the boulder... She took a brief second to think about her situation and...
