Dear Diary,
Okay, I'm hooked. I like football! Payton Manning is great. And he's cute too! Did you know that the Colts were the only home team to win this weekend? Of course you don't you're just a stupid book, but it's still true.
So anyway, just like last week Steve and Dante met me before school as we walked they were talking about the weekend's games and they sure were surprised when I was able to talk about the Jets game and how lucky that guy who tackled the quarterback was that they won. I swear I could have pushed them over with a feather! After that they kept on talking about the game, and I actually understood some of what they were saying.
So that day at lunch, Dante was talking about the weekend games and he asked me, "So Emily, who do you think deserved to win the Chargers - Jets game?"
I felt everyone's eyes on me waiting for me to answer, "Well the Jets. In the end they had more points."
Dante slammed his fist on the table as he said, "Exactly my point!" and he went on to talk more about the game.
That afternoon heading to the car, Dante and Steve were talking more about the games, and again, Dante brought me into it. "Payton Manning should win the MVP, he threw all those touchdowns." I said.
Apparently this time I was agreeing with Steve, who looked at me and said, "Beautiful and smart. That's a deadly combination. See you tomorrow, beautiful."
I can't believe Steve was actually flirting with me! He is so cute. I don't care if he is a year younger than me, he's strong and handsome, and... Well you get the idea, diary.
