After no one came for another hour Janno decided to go out and have a look around the town. But just as he got up there was a knock on the door.
“Come in.” He said.
The door opened and in walked a young woman. She had black shoulder-length hair and green eyes. She was wearing light brown leather armor and brown leader boots that reached to above her knees. She had no gloves. On her back she was wearing a longbow and a quiver full of arrows. On her belt a sword and a dagger could be seen.
“Are you Janno the fighter?” She asked.
“Yes, that’s me. And you are…?”
“I am Mina the archer. I would like to join your group. As you can see, I have a sword and a dagger for close combat should it come to it, but my true strength is in my bow and arrows. I can hit multiple attackers at once if they are close enough to each other. All I need is someone like you to keep the enemy away from me, so I am sure we will make a good team. But I must warn you I have no knowledge of magic.” While the young woman was talking Janno looked her body up and down, his eyes finally resting on her breasts, the shape of which the armor couldn’t hide. They seemed to be almost as big as the ones of his earlier visitor.
“Well, you are the first to join me, so for now it is just the two of us. But I am sure one or more spellcasters will join us later. However, I would like to see a small demonstration of your skills.”
“Very well.” Mina went to the window of the room and opened it, then took off her longbow and quiver. She took two arrows and her bow in her hands and leaned out of the window in such a way that Janno got an excellent view of her ass. She looked up, put the two arrows on the bow with one of her fingers in between them, aimed at something and fired both arrows. After that she quickly dropped her bow on the floor of the room and caught the two arrows before they fell down to the ground. Mina turned back to Janno and showed him that each had pierced a pigeon.
“Like I said, I can hit multiple targets at once.”
“Very good. Welcome to the team.”
“So, what now?”
“Well, earlier today I received a message from someone who wants to meet with me before dinner. I’ll meet with that person and then decide.”
“My room is down the hall. If you need anything, don’t hesitate to call me.” With this said Mina picked up her longbow and quiver and left, leaving Janno to wonder if she would really do anything he asks of her. He decided to leave such thoughts for later and wait for whoever sent the message. |
