That Friday night, you wait in your room for Amber to show up. Ms. White explained to your that Amber previously went to a strict Catholic school and isn't used to a more open and free environment, and has been having a hard time making the adjustment. She joined cheerleading to try and force herself to be more outgoing, but it hasn't been working.
There's a quiet tap on your door. You open it to find a tall and slender brunette girl, dressed in clothes that aren't exactly identical to a traditional schoolgirl uniform, but close. She wears large glasses and has her hair tied up in a tight ponytail. She holds a gym bag in one white-knuckled hand.
"Um, h-hi," she stammers. "I'm Amber, you must be ?"
"Hi, Amber," you say in your best friendly tone. "Come on in, make yourself at home."
"Thanks," she mumbles, and steps hesitantly into the room. She stands in the middle of the floor for a moment, unsure of what to do with herself.
