“Actually,” you say, “if you don’t mind, I think I’m going to do my looking around on my own.”
“OK,” she says, looking slightly disappointed.
“Nothing against you,” you tell her. “But I’m going to have to find my way alone eventually, so I might as well start that way.”
“Good point,” she says. “My Dad likes people who can do things for themselves.”
She gets off at the 3rd floor.
You continue to your office on the 4th. After you place your things, you find nothing else to do there. You rearrange things a few times, trying to stay busy, when you decide you might as well be doing nothing. You take the elevator back down to the 2nd floor, the description of which told you that might be the best place to find the Superstars. |
