Your Personal Fairy Tale | logandirth | 3

The march has been grueling but your men finally camp on the borders of the fell kingdom of Azernoth. Looking over the field it seems that King Feldriggan has brought five times the forces you have and that victory will be impossible. At these odds you have few available options beyond retreat and surrender but you cannot give up hope.

Should King Feldriggan defeat you here, your father's kingdom will surely fall and Azernoth will conquer all the lands of the world. Stepping out from your command tent you call over to your lieutenant.

"Hadrigan, who is that camped to the West of Feldriggan's forces?"

The older man pulls out a glass and looks. "It seems to be a small force but they do not appear to be on the side of Feldriggan. Do you think we should send a scout?"

You hate sending other men to do your work and your scouts are all very tired from the long march here. You could go yourself, but if you were captured the battle would surely be lost. The safest course would be to send your trusted man Hadrigan but you have never been one for safety and caution.

What will you do?
