Chad doesn't want to let on that he knows Dani's pregnant. That might lead to some questions he doesn't want to answer, especially with how well things seem to be going between them. If Dani realizes it herself he'll be better off.
Dani has been feeling under the weather, even throwing up from time to time. She's far too busy with her studies and besides, most of the time she feels fine. She's taking echinacea when she feels ill, she's taking vitamins, she's sure whatever is up with her body will clear up soon.
After another few weeks of parties Dani is much happier. The string of sickness and dizziness she's had seems to be gone. In fact she feels like she has a lot more energy. Good thing too, cause she wants to see Chad more often. Once every week or two just isn't enough to scratch her itch anymore. Besides, they've been seeing each other for . . . wow, three months?
Dani decides to make it official. If Chad gets cold feet after fucking her for three god-damn months then she'll have to get her supply of cock elsewhere. She calls him up and when he answers the phone she realizes she hasn't got a plan.
"Hey Dani, what's up?"
After a long pause Dani finally stammers out "Do you, uh, want to come over tonight?"
"Yeah, sure."
"OK good - er dinner I could put on a frozen pizza or no I could pick something up or we could order or . . ."
"Whoa! OK Dani. Don't worry about it. In fact I'll bring something. You said pizza?"
Dani dances from foot to foot next to the phone trying to sort out some kind of response, but finally just says "OK".
An hour later Chad arrives with a pizza to find Dani has decided on a romantic evening. Of course she didn't have much time to prep, so it looks a bit odd. She doesn't have a dining room, so the low living room table has been commandeered. She's got a black sheet for a tablecloth and black candles burning on top.
Even with all the lights out Chad can tell Dani is slightly red in the face. She gives him a hug at the door and says "This was a bit spur of the moment. I don't exactly entertain a lot of guests."
"Yeah. But that's OK, I like it."
As they eat the pizza Chad finally asks her what's up.
"I wanted to do something. The next party is too far away."
"So you decided to host your own party?"
"Exactly. Nice little party with just us." Dani decides now's the time and adds "Since you're my boyfriend now I kinda want to see you more."
"Great. I like the sound of that. Does this party end the same way as the others?"
Dani stops with a slice halfway to her mouth. "I damn well hope so!" She pats her stomach and adds "I've got to burn off these calories somehow."
Chad gets up and walks around the table, sitting down next to Dani. "We'll find a way." He slips an arm around her and pats her belly from the side. "It's not like you're huge either. You were a little skinny when we got together."
"I was slim. I'm not super sensitive about my weight, but I was slim and I like being slim."
"You're still slim."
Dani takes Chad's hand, lifting it so it rests on her breast rather than her belly. "I already told you we're sleeping together tonight, so you don't need to suck up." |
