You step out of the changing room in your new board shorts and stretch luxuriously as you feel the welcoming sunlight on your exposed skin. You give a satisfied sigh and look about with a proprietary gaze at the water park and its attendees. Ah well, you think and approach a deeply bronzed and flabby middle-aged man reclining the lounge with the best view of the pool and all its splashing inhabitants. What a perv, you think despite the glaring hypocrisy of the idea.
“I think you’ve had enough sun, get up and move.” You tell him curtly.
“What? What did you say to me, you little asshole?” he says glaring up at you through thick sunglasses.
“Sorry, I meant to say; Simon says move, you had enough sun today. Why not go home and rethink your life?”
The old man’s face goes slack for a moment then he gets up and starts collecting his belongings.
“Uhhh, yeah. I think I’ve had enough sun today.” He says with some uncertainty. “I think I’ll just go home and… uhhh… rethink matters.”
Once he’s gone you sit back in the sun lounge and take in the view, it really was the best seat to watch the tail go past in.
