"Wait girls, David let's stop by the dealer and buy some pot. Is that okay with you?" you say trying to salvage the situation with the twins.
"Okay by me," David says, while the Amber and Jade look at each other before coming to a conclusion.
"Fine, but you're paying," Amber finally says.
"That's fine."
The mood in the car isn't as great as it was before, but the level of hostility has decreased considerably. You try to flirt with Jade, but you don't get any further than talking before you reach your destination.
"Give me a hundred bucks," Jade says.
"A hundred isn't that a bit much?" you ask feeling a bit like they are trying to rip you off.
"You're such a bore, but fine give me fifty then."
You give Jade the fifty dollars and they leave after saying that they'll be right back. You see how they look back at you one last time before bursting out in laughs and you begin to wonder if they plan on coming back. They enter the apartment building and you David start talking a bit while you wait. It turns out that he's a bit worried about them leaving you behind as well. You try to stay calm, but you're in a rough neighborhood late at night on a Saturday and you don't want to wait too long for them. After waiting a while David decides to call them, but they don't answer the call. You decide to wait a bit longer, but it doesn’t look like they plan to show up.
"They're not coming back are they?" you finally ask.
"Nope."
"Did they really get that pissed off, just because we didn't want to buy weed right away."
"I think they did. Hey man, it's getting quite late and I think I'm gonna go home. Do you want me to drop you off somewhere?"
You think through your options, it's quite late. Picking up and waiting for the twins took quite a long time, but there might still be people left at Stephanie's party or you could check out the party the twins were at.
"Another thing, if you're not doing anything tomorrow; we could hang out at my place and play video games or something. If you want you can even sleep over tonight, like we used to do when we were kids," David says.
