“Penny I may be an Idiot sometimes and yes I love Jo but she is my best friend and though things have been a little weird between the two of us lately.” He said as he touched her cheek.
“I love you, and I want us to work, this is the strangest relationship I have ever been in, but it’s also the best, I have been a little selfish myself and have taken you for granted.” He smiled and kissed her. “Tomorrow what do you say just me and you. I won’t even have sex with another girl, your mom is working we can go to your place and just hang out, do whatever you want to do.”
“Okay.” She smiled and bit her lip.
Alex sat holding her as he sat on the dock as they looked out over the lake at the moonlit lake. Alex mulled over his choice, he had decided to let go of a fantasy, even if he were to sleep with Jo what then. Would she really give up being a lesbian? He and Jo worked because they were friends and while he did love her he didn’t want her to change. Alex didn’t know what the future held but he knew he wouldn’t be alone in it.
