"My name is . This-"

"? It's me, Frank."

"Frank?" you repeat, putting down your gun along with Frank. "What the Hell are you still doing here?"

"Well, it is my shop," Frank stated.

There was the sound of footsteps and then a lantern came on, casting a very dim light into the room. You could just make out the face of your father.

"Who's this?" Frank asked, nodding towards Jasmine.

"Dad, this is Jasmine; Jasmine, this is Frank, my father."

"Pleasure sir," Jasmine said, extending her arm for a handshake.

"My boy not giving you any trouble, is he?" Frank joked lightly, noting the outfit.

"No sir, he's actually saved my life, twice now."

"Saved your life? From what?"

"Zombies," you answer.

"Zombies?" Frank sighed, "shortly after you left some chaos erupted out on the streets. People were screaming. I didn't see much. I just closed up the shop, quick as I could and shut off the lights. Figured it wouldn't be long before the looters came 'round, but zombies..."

"Yeah, just life from the movies."

There was a silence that lasted probably longer than it should have, but it wasn't uncomfortable. Everyone was just sorting out their thoughts.

"So what's the plan now?" Frank asked.

You were the first to speak. "We can't stay here. As you said, you expect looters. There's too much exposure. We have to grab what we can and get out."

"But where do we go?" asked Jasmine.

"There's my farm." Frank suggested. It was a decent sized house on a large plot of land, set a distance away from the city. It would be isolated, they'd have plenty of food and water. There was already a large cache of weapons on the farm, but having more wouldn't hurt. The downside was that maybe it was too isolated. It would be hard to get any news and it wasn't the most defensible location if something did happen.

"We can go up the mountain...but we'd need more supplies." There was a restaurant and a lodge at the top of the mountain. Supplies would be scarce and it would be a bit of trouble getting more whenever you ran out but communications wouldn't be an issue with the towers at the top of the mountain as well, and the lodge could be defended easily enough; it was certainly a solid building.

"Maybe the military base?" The base would be the most preferable if it was still operational and if everyone wasn't being forced into quarantine. They would probably have to surrender whatever weapons they had, but they would be protected.

Where do they go next?
