Logan followed the scent. He wasn't sure where he'd smelled it before, but he knew the smell meant trouble. Trouble was good because the love of his life was marrying another guy today and he wanted no part of that.
He tracked the scent through the forest and to hill behind a swanky resort. There was some kind of party going on and... Logan could hear the distinct sounds of sex. He looked and through a window he saw Scott Summers, but not in the arms of Logan's dream girl Jean Grey. Scott was being straddled by Kitty Pryde the young student who seemed to have a thing for Logan.
"Hey Bub, do ya gotta steal every woman who looks my way." The old Wolverine might have jumped through the window and killed Cyclops before he had time to lift his pants but this new Wolverine knew that he finally had the proof he needed to get Jean to see him as the good guy.
He stalked back the way he'd come, all the way to the Professor's mansion and up to his room. He didn't expect anyone to get inside... then again, it was hard to keep this dame out. |
