“Son of a bitch.” Agent knight said as she walked away she felt herself snap back to reality as her and Prince where walking back to their car. “Prince we have to go back.” She said recognizing the effects of mind control; luckily it never worked for on long on her since the locket repaired her mind as well as the body. She knew prince however was probably of no use to anyone now.
“Fuck It I am going home.” Prince said as he kept walking. She knew of only one way to snap him out of it. She raised her Taser and hit him in the back as he fell to the ground. If she hadn’t he wouldn’t know what was going on until he had driven all the way back to his home town.
“Prince is down, I had to taser him, all teams be on the lookout for stick notes. They make you do whatever it says.” Sarah said as she as she fumbled through his pockets taking his coin, pistol, and the tuning fork.
“Yeah we found one on the front door. Drake move to the with beta squad cover Knight where going in the front. He knows where here now so bring in the chopper and land on the roof.” She heard Castle say over the radio. Knight didn’t plan to wait she had to get to Shin first.
“Very impressive.” Shin heard as her turned to see a woman approaching him; she didn’t look like any Fed, her clothes where way to nice.
“Stop right there.” He said raising his gun.
“My name is Chloe Winters and I am here to make you an offer you can’t refuse, I am like you a collector of artifacts so to speak, though unlike you I don’t have to run from the feds because I have a very powerful friend.” Shin found himself lowering his gun as she approached her voice was hypnotic.
“If only I had more time this could be fun.” She said as she ran a hand over his chest before opening his jacket and sliding an envelope inside. “I can be a powerful alley, we can give you money, a new name, and anything you want. All I want is one little thing. You have a baby picture don’t you of baby hunter from the briefcase.” Shin shook his head yes. “Get it for me would you love.” Shin reached into his pocket and pulled out the locker key as the lockers appeared. He moved toward the lockers ready to open them and give the woman the photograph. Suddenly a shot rang out and hit his hand as the key flew out of his hand from the force and clattered against the floor.
“Hello Chloe.” Agent Knight said.
“Kill her.” Chloe yelled as Shin turned drawing his gun on the agent who put a round in Ms. Winters who vanished in a puff of smoke. Shins head was clouded as he fought off the influence of the clone Agent Knight had just killed. The agent wondered if Chole was still alive did that mean that Joseph Hunter was as well though she didn’t have time to lingerie on it.
“Goodbye Rachel.” She said as she turned her pistol on Shin as she held the pistol in one hand and the tuning fork in the other ready to use it if she had to. “Good to see you detective. I would like to have a chat of my own before the other agents get here. You can run both we both know I will find you again.”
Chloe frowned as she snapped back to reality feeling a little sick, sitting in her car outside the building, that could have gone better but she had managed to at least get the envelope to him if he managed to escape. The instructions where simple enough she just hoped he followed them. The bad part was the feds would be looking for her again since the clone had looked like the real her and not her shape shifted body she wore now though they would have one hell of a time doing it. |
