"Oh thank god!" Rita's relieved to see the twins safe and sound. She's talking in a loud whisper. "Where the heck were you guys!? What happened to you? You're bleeding, both of you! Why are you naked Cassandra!?" She has a million questions.
Cass takes Rita into the RV restroom and explains through the shower curtain all the events that transpired, leaving you to sit and wait with Moe. Following Moes example you stare up at the cozy lightbulb. 'I'm so fucking tired.'
After a few minuets Rita exits the restroom leaving Cass to shower.
"She said you saved her." She has a proud smile...so damn pretty.
"Did she now?"
"Yup. I'm going to let you guys use the bunks tonight, mom and dad are asleep so thank your lucky stars you have time to come up with an excuse. Whatever you do keep the truth to yourself, because dad won't let Cass out again if he finds out what happened."
"Won't they find out any way? We have pretty visable injuries."
"Make something up for your hand, Cass and I will start sharing clothes. She agreed no more skirts for awhile."
"Nice. Like it never happened...to her."
"Try to be more careful from now on, okay? You guys are all I have left."
With that Rita leaves with a kiss on your cheek and a smile.
Cass turns the water off and exits the bathroom in just a towel. |
