Using the same method as before, you and Cass open the locker without incident.
"Another box." You pick it up and take it to Cass.
"Is this all?"
"Yup." She sets the box down and opens the folds.
"There iiiis...one map and a bag of rocks. Wow this sucks."
"There's a letter here too Cass, just one."
"Read it." You start reading.
"I MEAN ALOUD." She is being such a bitch today.
"It reads":
Dearest Suzanne,
We have been scouting the geography of the Sierras for a year now, and it doesn't seem to be getting our employers any where they wish to be. 2 months ago they bought this old ranger station that was posted deep within Yosemite from an unknown seller (to us any way) with the goal of mapping the area for personal use or exploration, I assume. When we started in Kings Canyon things were square between us and them; they gave us free time, computers, very good pay, insurance, the works. But these past 4 months have been torture. They began taking away our rights and privlages one by one; we either work, eat, sleep, or shit, but not without an escort to make sure that is all we do, they kill those who do otherwise. They cut us off from the world and some of these armed "gaurds", as they call them, have been taking advantage of my women co-workers. My friend Eric tried to flee last night, but I believe he didn't make it more than 15 yards before he was gunned down. Of the 8 geologists and geographers only 4 of us are still alive, the other 3 survivors are women, I fear I will be dead within a month Suzanne. I can't mail this letter to you, to home, but in case the worst comes before help does I want you to know I miss you and I wish I was there. Maybe one day someone will find this and bring you word of the fate my friends and I shared.

"That's so sad..." Cass looks like she's going to cry. "We should come back tomorrow and read these other letters and documents . Maybe we can find some more details on what these people were looking for."
