"Account of Courtney & Jeremy | Zingiber | 11

"Well, you know Mrs. Patterson usually asks me about joining the deaconesses," Henry started.

"She should ask me, but she'd get the same answer," Dorothy said. "But not this time?"

Henry propped his head up on his elbow, cushioned by the featherbed. He was a good half of the way toward a third erection from talking with Dorothy about the last two weddings they had celebrated.

"Not this time," Henry said. "She wanted us to put in for a second Exchange couple if she could host them."

"She has the room, I'll allow," Dorothy said.

"Do you think we should?"

Dorothy sighed. "Hmmm. I think... Well, here's the list," she said. "Snuggle up close and let's look at them together. Maybe we'll find someone who'll work well with her."

Henry and Dorothy sat up against the padded headboard with the list of World Neighbors Exchange couples. Dorothy's hand stole into Henry's lap, found his half-erection, and gently worked it up to full again.

"Are you sure you should be doing that?" Henry asked.

Dorothy laughed. "You mean, is this like shopping when we're hungry?"

"Something like that," Henry said. He adjusted his glasses.

"Well," Dorothy said, "Let's explore our highest hopes now. We can give it a second look after we make a short list."

"If we're inviting a second couple to stay with Mrs. Patterson, I wonder how that changes things?" Henry said.

Dorothy looked up and to the side, musing on the thought as she gently stroked Henry's manhood.

"Well, I can see some of the couples would be better matches for staying with Mrs. Patterson than others," she said.

"Right. At least she'd want a couple who was completely fluent in English. For ourselves I was hoping a couple who was working in a growing congregation. Like Nathan and Laura. Or someone like ourselves fifteen or twenty years ago."

Dorothy laughed. "So they can make fewer mistakes than we did."

"Fewer of those turned out to be mistakes than we thought at first," Henry said.

Dorothy squeezed his erection. "Joy," Dorothy said.

Henry nodded. "Joy. Her father." he said. "Lars has been steadfast for us all these years."

"Well, only natural," Dorothy said. "He almost helped us co-found the congregation. But public service is a calling too." Dorothy stroked Henry's cock. "Now, Lars's wife has been up on this old pole more times than I can count. I count Joy as a bundle of blessings every day."

Henry laughed. "I think Cindy's given me her accent," he said. "My Mandarin used to be good. Now I sound like a midwesterner, and I blame it all on her."

"Orgasms do open you to new influences," Dorothy said. "I trust we've done our best to make them good ones. Speaking of new influences..." She gave Henry's rod a squeeze and nodded to the list of couples seeking exchange visits with Loving Community congregations.

They read through the profiles of the couples, picking out the most likely matches who would benefit from visiting the congregation, and bring it benefit.

"All right, now," Dorothy said. "For Mrs. Patterson, we think one of the Commonwealth couples? The Canadians, the Kiwis, or the Aussies?"

"Right," Henry said. "And for ourselves?"

"Well, they sound like they all speak fairly good English. But you have some Mandarin, and I have some Spanish. That could make it a little easier to pick one of those couples than, say, the Russian or the Senegalese couples."

"Though the Nigerians would be fine as far as language is concerned," Henry said.

"It sounded like they were maybe looking to guest with an urban congregation, maybe a city with a Nigerian community," Dorothy said.

"True, not much of that here," Henry said. "Who would you pick?"

"Mmmm, truth to tell, this hippie chick free love Jesus freak's favorite is..."

Who is Dorothy's favorite exchange couple?

          Peter and Irene Dong, but...
