Walking through to the living room Jessica calls out to her Mum in her best sick voice saying.

"Mum, can you call school and let them know I won't be in today" (cough, cough) "I think I may have caught a bug off one of the other students".

Does Mrs Spurling buy the excuse?

          Doesn't believe her needs proof

          Believes her, wants to look after her like when she was a baby!
