It takes a second for the screen to catch up with the sound and the blackness gives way to the fuzzy view of a young and somewhat nervous girl. Her dark curls flow naturally over her pale shoulders and obscure the cleavage that her v-neck black t-shirt would otherwise give you. Her legs are rocking a dark blue denim jeans that fit her slender body like a glove. You know this girl is insecure, you can sense it and read it off her body language.
"Good evening, Brandi." You smile and sit back in your chair. This should be great fun, you have a feeling that this one will do anything you ask of her. "How are you doing today?" You prepare your computer to record everything that is about to transpire.
Brandi smiled back at you and you see why she would want to be a model. If you were a real agency you might even consider hiring her. "Hello. I'm doing good. Thank you. School's a bitch though. I guess that's always the case. I expected you to be older. More experienced. How long have you been in the business?"
You notice she rambles on quite a bit and put it down to nerves. "I've been around long enough to spot a talent at first glance, Brandi." You wink at her trying to gain her trust with compliments, no matter how cheesy they seem. "So why do you want to be in the modelling business?"
Looking away from the camera slightly, still her nerves shining through. "Everybody keeps saying I'm pretty and that I should do something with it." She shrugs as if she doesn't agree with them. "I just want to make some money for the summer and this is probably the easiest way."
Nodding slightly in agreement you start the recording software on your PC and lean in to the camera a bit to obscure you movement. "So, is it okay if I ask you a few questions?" You give a friendly smile, knowing she will answer positively to this, wondering what you should ask her first.
"Yes, of course you can." Brandi smiles and seems to try to relax a bit, awaiting your first official question. |
