This story involves the characters from the Alex Rider series. Despite any character kill-offs in the series or other things to the contrary, this assumes that the following characters are alive and well, a short time into the future.
ALEX RIDER: Alex was recruited as a young teenager to be a secret agent for the British intelligence division MI6. He has gone through many harrowing adventures and has nearly been killed more than once. After the last mission, MI6 promised they were done with him, and he could go back to trying to live a normal life.
He is an orphan who was being raised by his uncle, until he, too, was killed by the evil criminal organization SCORPIA. Alex has since been raised by his guardian, Jack Starbright, who, despite the name, is female.
Alex is now 18 years old and is a college freshman in London, UK. He has medium-length, blond, unruly hair. He is 5'11”, and is a specimen of perfect physical health and fitness, thanks to all the martial arts training he received from his uncle before his death.
Alex found his time with MI6 to be exciting, and he kind of misses the adventure from time to time, but he really resented the way they manipulated him, used him against his will, and had no apparent concern for his life.
ALAN BLUNT: The head of MI6. He is about 70 years old, gaunt and severe. Espionage is his single focus, and he lets nothing get in the way of what he needs to accomplish for national security. He is humorless, unsympathetic, and extremely manipulative.
MRS. JONES: Mrs. Jones is the second-in-command of MI6. She is in her mid-40's, black, and very sensuous. She, like Alan Blunt, is very committed to the responsibility of MI6 and has gone along with his plans in the past, even if she has some misgivings about how they might affect Alex.
JACK STARBRIGHT: Jack is a 25-year old female who became Alex's guardian after the death of his uncle. She has been a long-time family friend and has been like a big sister to Alex. She knows all about his role as a secret agent and has worried about him terribly. She is deeply offended by the way MI6 has manipulated him and was very glad to hear Alex's secret agent days were behind him. She lives at the Rider home in London, UK. Now that Alex is 18, he has no need for a guardian, but she is the only family he has, so there has never been any suggestion that she would live anywhere else. She, like Alex, is a martial arts expert, in perfect shape. She has black hair and a very shapely body.
SABINA: Sabina has been Alex's girlfriend since they were 15. She knows about Alex's secret agent days, since he saved her life more than once. Now 18, she is a freshman at the same college with Alex.
JUSTIN: Justin is Alex's college roommate. They only met a couple of months ago, when they were assigned the same room, so he knows nothing about Alex's MI6 days. He is 18 and gives the appearance of being a typical college student, but occasionally Alex gets the sense that something is a little different about him; he can't quite put his finger on it, though.
SCORPIA: The criminal organization that is the counter-part to MI6. It is run by some of the most evil and brilliant minds in the world. SCORPIA has been behind every horrible thing that has ever happened to Alex. It was supposedly disbanded after Alex's last mission, but it has secretly reformed, under the leadership of a mysterious person known only by his or her codename: “The Director.”
