Some twenty minutes later, Jo was ensconced in her new room, not to mention $500 and a whole bunch of furniture and so on richer. As she sat down on the bed, Nancy entered, and gave it a look around.
"Not bad. Big for a dorm room, well appointed, and a great view," Nancy said. "And I'm not just talking about the window. The showers are right outside the hall, so you're guaranteed to have a parade of hot naked chicks for your ogling pleasure."
"That isn't the half of it," Jo said. "Apparently, Tommi's folks are loaded. This room is a single, so I don't have to share, and she gets a monthly stipend of a thousand bucks, half of which she'll be giving to me. AND she'll be my personal plaything every weekend."
Nancy's eyes bugged out. "Wow. PLEASE tell me you'll share? Those tits are DIVINE!"
It might seem odd to a modern day mind for a pair of lesbian lovers to speak so casually of ogling and screwing other women, especially given Jo's previously displayed jealousy. The fact of the matter was that, in the hypersexualized post-Pulse world, pure monogamy was a thing of the past. In its place was a sort of qausi-monogamy, were it was not only okay to look as long as one didn't touch, but expected, and no one minded if one's lover manged to make time with a hotter woman, as long as she came back to you in the end.
So, Jo giggled, and nodded...and then suddenly sighed. Nancy sat down next to her girlfriend, and put an arm around her.
"Hey, sweetie, what's wrong?"
Jo shrugged. "I dunno. I should be pretty pleased with myself, right? But, I can't quite seem to feel that way. My mind keeps going back to the fact that I could've been sharing a room with a guy all year...and know I'm not."
Nancy gave her a quick kiss. "Tell you what, why don't we see if I can take you mind of Owen, for awhile, hmm?"
She grasped the zipper on Jo's catusit and began pulling it down...
