You wake up from your room. It's nearly morning, so you get your trusted Gunblade ready and go downstairs for breakfast. Even though it's not nearly morning yet, you see Hercules practicing his sword-fighting skills outside the Olympus Coliseum. You then eat your breakfast and walk towards the Olympus Coliseum.
Although you've been in many of the Cups held in the Olympus Coliseum, you've only won a few of them, unlike Hercules. The last one you fought had you fighting against some kid in red shorts with some oversized key, along with some weird dude with a shield with a mouse on it, and a fat blue duck with a small staff, personalized with a wizard's hat on top (Sora, Donald, and Goofy, obviously). Although you fought valiantly, you lost due to their teamwork and them beating you three-on-one, which isn't fair. At least you know that this tournament, the Hades cup, is based on one-on-one matches, so you feel relaxed knowing you only fight one person at a time.
Phil shows the contestants the amazing Hades Cup, a golden trophy with a golden flame coming out of it. You then look at the board with the other contestants and get yourself ready.
