With one last nod of my mind, mostly to me, and to gain some valor, I opened my eyes and looked directly at Ginny; it seemed that she was waiting for the moment I made my decision.
“Okay, I got it”
“What’s the plan boss?” Ginny said standing up ready to work her magic, so far we have made a nice way of making wishes, me thinking the possible outcomes of the decision, maybe together to avoid any mistakes.
“My mom wanted a daughter, and… I guess I want to do something special for her, this past few months she seemed to be, somewhat down and adding to my own… death or close to dying it only made things worst for her. I’ll like to see her cheer up, to give her something. Ginny, I don’t want to be an asshole and say, this power is mine and I’ll use it to make myself rich and use everyone else”
“I don’t think that’s in your personality, you wouldn’t have been capable of breaking the locket without that part of yourself, so, without something else to be said make the wish boss”
“Okay, this is the plan, I wish mom had a daughter, but this is it, I have to prepare, first part of the plan… change my gender” I said while Ginny simply blinked at the wish, I guess she was expecting me to wish for an older or younger sister instead of this.
“Is that what you wish for?”
“At least for now, I guess… I always wondered, how life would have been if I was ever born as a girl? With all this it wouldn’t be bad to check on things, so that’s the first part; second part, I keep all of my memories and personality; third part, change people memories so they adjust to the new past, oh, and official papers too” I said counting the three parts of what I wanted, this would be something like a science fiction movie, just with me as the leading role “if I wish for me to be a girl, will you still be my genie?”
“Of course I’ll be, that’s a dumb question, I’m going to stay here no matter what, so get ready, this is going to be one crazy ride” Ginny said snapping her fingers just at the moment I heard the usual ‘ping’ and the world was swiped in a vortex, my poor mind couldn’t keep on, I felt like if I was falling away.
Just as fast it ended and I wait a couple of seconds for my head to stop spinning before I could focus on my surroundings, then I noticed that Ginny was holding me up, I was probably going to fall down.
“I told you it was going to be a wild ride boss” Ginny said with the grin in her face, I’m sure she was having fun at my expense.
“Well, yeah, thank you for that… oh my god… my voice!” it is really strange to find yourself in this situation, so instead of panicking (since I was the one who wished for this) I walked in the direction of my mirror and instead I found a full body one, not only that I was sure that several things in my room were different, not paying attention to that I saw my own reflect… my new reflection.
