You've always had a good string of luck. Wise investments starting in your youth have filled your bank account and given you a large, secluded house. A lucky last-minute invite to a party gave you your first encounter with the beautiful blonde who would become your loving wife. Lucky timing gave you your first teaching job, and your work ethic built up your career from an ordinary high-school teacher into one of the most-respected English professors in the college who now employs you.
Three days ago, you and your wife, Silvia, received a letter from the International Federation for the Advancement of World Peace and Understanding. Having never heard of such an organization, you were quick to discard it. Silvia, being a more curious person, fished it from your "File 13" and read the letter. She laughed in interest and read it aloud to you:
"Dear Sir and Madam,
"Congratulations! You have been selected for this summer's Grand Experiment for the promotion of world peace and understanding. Enclosed you will find application forms and other necessary information, but this letter serves to summarize the information.
"For nearly fifty years, the International Federation for the Advancement of World Peace and Understanding (IFAWPU, or "The Federation") have sought to find new and exciting ways for peoples across the world to come together and learn from and about one another. Starting five years ago, reports began to surface that our international travelers were coming home with higher opinions of the lands they had traveled through after having sexual relations with their hosts.
"In further studies, we determined that such sexual relations can only benefit overall international relations. For this reason, those who agree to the terms of our contract, host homes will be created. The men will remain with the home and host the women who travel, the wives and girlfriends of the host men. Both sexes are to understand and follow the rules below:
1. Sexual relations are encouraged, but are not to be forced.
2. Cultural issues between both host and traveler are to be respected.
3. During each three-day stay, the cultures (food, clothing, sex, recreation) of both host and traveler are to be explored by both parties.
4. All participants must be disease-free.
5. All participants must be drug-free. Allowances will be made for specific medical prescriptions.
6. All hosts will be inspected at least once during the three-month experience. These inspections are random and will not be announced. Inspectors will have proper identification visible on approach to the host's home.
"We hope that you will be part of our Grand Experiment. Money is an understandable issue, as this does require a great deal of travel. The participants will have to pay only a single $1000 deposit on acceptance of application and any fees related to travel visas and passports. A stipend will be calculated and made available for hosts to maintain their homes for their guests for the duration of the time period. All flights and other travel will be paid by The Foundation.
"Please submit the enclosed application forms by the fifteenth of the month.
"Yours Truly,
"I. Howard, President
"L. Long, Treasurer
"International Federation for the Advancement of World Peace and Understanding."
You laugh it off and go for a swim. When you come back in, Silvia is on the phone with the applications nearly filled out. You start to say something as she hangs up, but she cuts you off.
"I just got off the phone with our lawyer. He says this group's legit and recommended we apply." Your sex life with Silvia is still strong, though you've both talked about opening up your relationship to try a variety of partners. Somehow, her interest in this makes you love her more, even knowing she'll be coming home having experienced an unknown number of other men. And that she's already filling these documents out knowing that it means you'll be having an equal number of women.
You kiss her, sit down, and help finish filling out the forms.
Three months later, you receive your acceptance letter, along with the first packet of information. Silvia's first flight leaves only an hour before your first guest is expected to arrive. You help your wife pack, making sure she takes some of her sexiest lingerie and a few of her favorite toys. You make love to her for the entirety of the day before she leaves.
At the airport, you say goodbye to her and dig out the placard on which you wrote your first guest's name. Her flight is delayed and finally lands over an hour after it was due. Tired as you are, you're immediately energized by the beautiful woman who sees and responds to her name in your hands. |
