Fixing her towel, Naoto tried to draw herself up the best she could. Given her height, that wasn't very impressive. "I assure you, John, whatever perverse scenario is running through your mind, it's not that case," she told me, a hint of offense in her voice. False offense, mind you. "I see...well, I suppose that IS an honest mistake...were it not for the fact you were sniffing from my hamper...where I toss dirty clothes," I replied. She cleared her throat, ready to reply, but I cut her off.
"Another thing...why did you assume I thought you were doing something perverse? What sort of perverse thing could you be doing?" I went on. "All I saw was you smelling an object.
