All was quiet on the space cruiser Galicio IV when, suddenly, a omnious red light flashed throughout the crew deck and a warning siren blared! With a loud hissing, four of the ten occupied SleepStasis Pods popped open and the groggy passengers stumbled out and landed on their hands and knees.
"Oh god," you moan, squinting in the bright, now light blue lighting. "What happened...?"
Looking around you take note of the other abruptly awakened passengers - they consist of your girlfriend Jessica, her sister Stephanie, your brother Max, and your mother Elizabeth.
The AI controlling the ship spoke through the ship-wide speaker system, "Attention all prematurely awakened passengers - this ship was recently damaged in a minor conflict with pirate vessels. All major systems have been adequately repaired, however your SleepStasis Pods will be unable to support your vitals for the remainder of the flight. We have exactly ten days, thirteen hours and twenty-two minutes until arrival in the Farnx Galaxy."
