This is a brief and incomplete list of the characters in the universe of the story.
The Carter Family
Mark Carter, 19 years old, goes to a nearby college and stays at home with his parents. He is the only child of Lori and David Carter. He is fairly tall and has dark hair; he was not extremely popular in school due to his shyness and is therefore a virgin, but he is not bad looking. He has always lusted after his beautiful cousin Lila after an incident in a pool.
Lori Carter, 40 years old, born Lori Wilson. She is married to David Carter and is the mother of Mark Carter. She was a bit wild in her college years and got pregnant at a rather young age. She was once one of the most attractive girls in college, and she is still a beautiful woman now. Sometimes she longs for her college years. She is the twin sister of Melissa Heyerdahl.
David Carter, 45 years old, moderately wealthy businessman. He is married to Lori Carter and is the father of Mark Carter. He had a one-night stand with a young Lori Heyerdahl and she became pregnant, and he was forced to marry her. He has had many affairs and he realizes that his wife sometimes thinks of other men. Their sex life is not what it used to be.
The Heyerdahl Family
Lila Heyerdahl, 18 years old, recent high school graduate. Lila is a pretty brunette cheerleader. She's short but cute, and has decent sized but not huge breasts, which causes her blonde friend Savannah to be much more popular with boys. She was thrown out of her house by her father Joseph after she was caught giving oral sex to her boyfriend DJ. She then moved in with her cousin, aunt, and uncle, and subsequently dumped her loser boyfriend.
Melissa Heyerdahl, 40 years old, born Melissa Wilson.
Joseph Heyerdahl, 42 years old, frustrated mailman.
Ada and Elaina Heyerdal, 10 and 8 years old respectively, younger sisters of Lila Heyerdahl and the children of Melissa and Joseph Heyerdahl. For age reasons, obviously not involved in anything romantic or sexual, but they are important to their big sister Lila.

Alex Jones, 19 years old, close friend of Mark Carter. He has known Mark since kindergarten. He was once a promising athlete until he blew out his knee, thus ending his athletic aspirations. He is biracial; his mother Nancy is white and his father Jason is black.
Joe Graves, 19 years old, close friend of Mark Carter. He met Mark in college and they became quick friends. He is rather geeky and is excellent with technology.
Savannah Price, 18 years old, close friend of Lila Heyerdahl. She is a perky blonde cheerleader with huge breasts. She is very popular with the boys because of this.
DJ Crane, 18 years old, ex-boyfriend of Lila Heyerdahl. He is what some would consider a "punk" due to his style of dress, hair, and various piercings. He was dumped by Lila after her parents caught her giving him a blowjob.
Nancy Potts, 46 years old, mother of Alex Jones.
